Information about the Service

Plan Description

This plan is a bundle that includes :-

  • ADSL 2+ Super Fast broadband with 50G per month data allowance
  • This plan can only be purchased together with one of the following phone plans.
  • This plan is only available to customers 60 years of age and over and receiving a government pension.

The minimum term varies depending on the setup fee selected. Setup is $0 with a minumum term of 24 months.

Data Allowance

  • 50G per month data allowance
  • anytime monthly data allowance
  • 1GB (Gigabyte) is 1,000MB (Megabyes).
  • Both uploads and downloads are counted in your monthly allowance.
  • Up to an additional 10GB per month is available at $2 per GB. Once this additional data is used the service is slowed to 128Kbps.
  • Email notification will be sent to you when your data usage reaches 50%, 85% and again at 100% of your allowance.
  • Any unused data allocation will expire at the end of each usage period and your data
    allocation will be refreshed, the usage period begins on the monthly anniversary day
    of the start of your current plan.

  • Early termination fee

  • There is no fee when cancelling after the minimum term expires.
  • Minimum term or contract term means the minimimum period of activation of the service at the specified service address.
  • Moving the service from one address to another address results in cancellation of the service and reactivation at the new address.

Phone Service

  • This bundle plan requires the purchase of a phone service
    which is an additonal monthly cost plus applicable call charges.
  • Call Itemisation:Call detail, including called number, duration and cost, is generally
    available for viewing at usage.australiaonline.net.au within 30 minutes of the call being made.

  • Generally usage information is available within 30 minutes of the call being made or the data being used.

Installation

  • Phone Service Required: ADSL services require an active phone service.

Required Hardware

  • You will need an ADSL 2+ capable modem.
  • 1 port ADSL 2+ modem is available from us for $69 including delivery or you can obtain your own.
    Ours comes fully tested and configured.
  • 4 port WiFi ADSL 2+ modem router is available from us for $114 including delivery or you can obtain your own.
    Ours comes fully tested and configured.

Billing

  • We bill you the minimum monthly fee in advance and usage charges such as calls in arrears.
  • When you signup you will be billed :-
    • Install fee as applicable,
    • For any purchased hardware,
    • First month's minimum monthly charge.
  • Payment is by credit card or direct debit from a bank account.
    A 29c credit card processing fee applies to payment by credit or debit cards.
  • Where you have a phone service an invoice will be emailed to your nominated email address
    on the first business day of the calendar month.
  • Payments will be debited on the 3rd business day of the calendar month.

Other included features

  • ADSL broadband is not available to all premises or locations.
  • Not all ADSL broadband plans are available in all locations.
  • Relocation of ADSL broadband to new premises results in cancellation of the existing service,
    which is free when out of contract, connection of the new ADSL service at the new premises (where available) is
    FREE on a new 24 month plan.
  • 30 free email boxes.
  • 50 MB free web space.
  • Free incoming email virus scanning.
  • Free optional spam (junk mail) filtering.
